100 Strong BR exists to support and strengthen the nonprofits that serve Baton Rouge. Through philanthropy, fellowship, and collective giving, our members are united by a shared commitment to helping organizations that improve lives and care for those in need.

    100 Strong BR is a group of community members who come together to support local nonprofits through collective giving. By combining our contributions, members help provide meaningful financial support to organizations making a difference in Baton Rouge.

  • How does the process work?

    Members gather once each quarter to learn about nominated local nonprofits. After hearing from the organizations, members vote, and one nonprofit receives the collective support of the group.

  • How do I become a member?

    Anyone who wants to support local nonprofits and make a difference in the Baton Rouge community is welcome to join. Members simply commit to attending gatherings and contributing to the nonprofit selected by the group.

  • How are local non-profits selected?

    Local nonprofits are nominated by members prior to each gathering. A few organizations are selected to present at the event, and members vote to determine which nonprofit will receive the group’s collective donation.

  • Where and When are the gatherings?

    100 Strong BR meets once each quarter at Oak Lodge in Baton Rouge. Gatherings include time for networking followed by presentations from nominated nonprofits.
